Biography
Dominik Židek (1989) graduated from the Faculty of Law of Masaryk University in Brno (Czechia) with a Master’s degree (summa cum laude) and a PhD degree (in Administrative and Environmental Law) and completed the rigorous procedure (in Environmental Law) at the Faculty of Law of Charles University in Prague (Czechia). From 2014 to 2017, he worked as an assistant judge at the administrative section of the Regional Court in Brno. Since January 2018, he has been an assistant judge to the Constitutional Court of the Czech Republic. Since October 2018, he has been working as an assistant professor at the Department of Environmental Law and Land Law at the Faculty of Law of Masaryk University and lectures for the professional public. He specializes in public construction law processes concerning the protection of environmental interests. He is a member of the Czech Society for Construction Law, the Czech Society for Environmental Law and the Association for International Affairs. Dominik Židek is the author or co-author of several monographs and commentaries on legal acts. He regularly publishes in professional journals in the Czech Republic and abroad.
