Kristina Bučar, PhD. is a professor at the Department of Tourism of the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Zagreb, Croatia were she teaches Tourism Principles, Tourism Geography, Management of Tourism and Environment, and Resource Management in sustainable tourism development.

She researches topics such as tourism geography, tourism and environment, sport tourism, ecolabeling in tourism, tourism planning, and social responsibilities in tourism. She has had her works published in journals of national and international importance and has presented works at prestigious national and international conferences.
